The Worthley Pond Association Store was opened from the last week in June until Labor Day week-end thanks to the volunteer efforts of many workers.
The WPA is now located at Honeyrun Campground at the south end of lake. We will be using a portion of the store at the entrance to the campground. There is plenty of parking. Thank You Jeff Lennox.
The hooded sweatshirts-shirts, children’s clothing, caps, and the Worthley Pond Signs were a huge success.
We have new clothing articles in the much requested collared polo shirts, zippered sweatshirts without a hood, requested coffee cups, magnets, key chains, bookmarks, and tree ornaments. We will also have children’s clothing and other new articles for folks to purchase.
Many thanks are extended to Orv & Donna Lind, Bert & Charlie Day, Sarah Sillars, Diane Radvilas, Noreen Morris, Gladys Placey, Pat Brawn, Ron & Alice Ash worth, John & Jessie Shea and Dave Clement for all their work in making this fund raiser such as success in 2007.
